Selected Authors’ Quotes on the Map

“You might, after seeing that map, think that he, Gomberg, is crazy. But, I warn you, brother, do not be too hasty in your conclusions. Maybe it is not Gomberg’s idea at all. Maybe it is somebody else’s plan — somebody greater and more powerful than “little nobody” Gomberg. What would Charlie McCarthy be without Edgar Bergen behind him? So, also, what would Gomberg be without the prophets and the planners who prompt him?”

— The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“The first world war was for the League of Nations. We lost it. THIS WAR IS FOR WORLD GOVERNMENT. … If we do not PUT OVER A WORLD GOVERNMENT we will lose the peace.”

— Frederick L. Schuman, Department of Government, Williams College, Williamstown, Mass., at a “Union Now” luncheon, in New York, on February 11, 1942; quoted in The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“Madagascar is to go to Britain. And Madagascar by all rights of justice belongs to France. The peculiar thing about this matter is that the Gomberg Map was copyrighted March 31, 1942 — and exactly six weeks AFTER that, the British took Madagascar for “strategic reasons”. Six weeks — exactly. Does that look as if Moritz Gomberg or his Bergens did not know anything about it?”

— The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“Nothing so far has been said about Russia or rather the “Union of Soviet Socialist Republics“. She, too, is a “democracy”. She too is fighting for “freedom”, or rather for the “Four Freedoms”. And Moritz Gomberg makes that clear, because he bases all his explanations on the speech of our “Great President” on the “Four Freedoms”. How wonderful to have such champions of liberty in these days!  Russia and the wonderful Stalin are making such a gallant fight for “freedom” and “democracy”.  It is truly admirable. The trifles of past history that Russia murdered 20-40 million Christians; that she liquidated all who might have served as opposition-leaders; that she has been planning revolution in every country and promoting unrest and chaos in the U.S.A. and elsewhere; that she once “stabbed Poland in the back” whilst Hitler stabbed her in the front; that she is holding and starving a million and a half Polish children, mostly orphans (not to mention others); that she murdered cold-bloodedly 10,000 Polish officers, a fact she is trying to hide by refusing an honest investigation by impartial judges — all these are eclipsed by her “present heroic fight for freedom and democracy”, things she does not have nor allow within her own boundaries, nor to her own people … notwithstanding all the nice, sugar-coated and well-financed propaganda (“Mission to Moscow” etc.) to the contrary.”

— The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“Besides establishing the freedoms, the “New World Order” will make various economic changes, such as the following:

Nationalization of all natural resources everywhere in the world. The purpose of this is “equitable distribution” to all nations.  Maybe!?!  What can other nations do about it if it is less equitable then than it is now, when the imperial nations (including Britain and Soviet Russia) exclude others from the distribution, and thus furnish causes for wars?  Will injustice disappear then from the earth?  Will Britain and Russia become angels — to share what they have?

— The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“Nationalization” — that means socialism pure and simple. It means Russianization or Sovietization of the world. Is that an improvement?  Not if you judge by the facts. Nationalization of banking, foreign investments, railroads and power plants. This — also everywhere in the world. Nationalization of all armament and armament factories. Federal control of commerce and shipping. All this imitates Soviet Russia very closely and even slavishly. All that is lacking is the name — Sovietization!  To top it all and put the financial control on the world, a world common monetary system is to be imposed.”

— The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“The advent of a universal republic which is LONGED FOR BY ALL THE WORST ELEMENTS OF DISORDER and confidently expected by them, is an idea that is now ripe for execution. From this republic, based on the principles of ABSOLUTE EQUALITY OF MEN AND COMMUNITY OF POSSESSIONS, would be banished ALL NATIONAL DISTINCTIONS, nor in it would the authority of the father over his children or of the public power over citizens, or of God over society, be any longer acknowledged. If these ideas are put into practice, there will inevitably follow A REIGN OF UNHEARD-OF-TERROR”. Shall we heed that warning, or shall we fall into the trap set for us by WORLD-CONSPIRATORS?

— Pope Benedict XV warned in his Motu Proprio, “Bonum sane” of July 25th, 1920, after the last war, when these sinister plans of long standing were being advocated. Quoted in The Constitutionalist, Vol. 15, No. 3, Mar. 1944

“Recent developments apparently confirm the Gomberg map:  (a) Russia said: “Hands off the Balkans!” She wants certain countries in Central Europe!!  (b) EFE, Spanish newsagency, in Stockholm dispatch (12/30/1942) said, “Folkets Dagblad”, socialist newspaper, reported a treaty on May 26, 1942, between Great Britain and Soviets.  Terms:  Russia to get political and military control over Finland, Germany, Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria; bases in other (?) countries; passages from Baltic to North Sea, Black Sea to Mediterranean. Secret diplomacy?  (c)  Moscow, through “National Committee of Free Germany” (Erich Weinert, Chrm.) asks Germany to revolt against Hitler, offers separate peace and “equal footing with other nations” (as Soviet Republics?).  That means: Communist domination for Germany; double-cross for Allies; encirclement and end of Four Freedoms for others.”

“What real purpose did Mr. Roosevelt promote through the way he used his imperial powers? He furthered the main principles of a plan for the redistribution of the earth published in 1942 (but clearly prepared much earlier) by a mysterious ‘Group for a New World Order‘, headed by a Mr. Moritz Gomberg.”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“Then what were Mr. Roosevelt’s private ideas about the British Commonwealth, his ally, and how far did Mr. Churchill understand them?  Mr. Roosevelt’s views seem to have been constant and different from what was publicly supposed; he wanted to redistribute the Commonwealth, in collaboration with the Soviet and to enlarge the Communist Empire.  Mr. Roosevelt may or may not have understood the ultimate purpose of destroying all nations; his experience was not great. Mr. Churchill, more widely travelled and deeply versed, knew it well.”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“One of Mr. Churchill’s first actions seemed oddly aberrant; the offer, as France fell, to merge the British and French nations. It would have meant the surrender of national identity in one direction while it was being defended to the last in another; to this day I am grateful to the Frenchmen who rejected it. The idea was not Mr. Churchill’s. He says he was ‘by no means convinced’, and ‘the implications and consequences’ of this ‘immense design’ were not in any way thought out; yet he made the proposal.  (A prime mover, he says, was M. Jean Monnet of France, who in 1950 was a prime mover in an analagous project, that to unite British, French and German heavy industry under ‘a supreme authority’. In this form the plan of the Group for a New World Order goes on and it seems to me all in tune with the aims of the Brotherhood.)”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“Then the curious matter of the ‘strategic islands’ arose (which the Group for a New World Order also foresaw to pass to America: the ruling idea may be that the World-Government-to-come can best hold the world in thrall from this chain of ocean strongholds). Mr. Churchill suggested to Mr. Roosevelt that the Republic should acquire on 99-year leases naval bases on certain British West Indian islands, in return for the use of fifty old destroyers. He says, ‘There was, of course, no comparison between the intrinsic value of these antiquated and inefficient craft and the immense permanent (my italics) ‘strategic security afforded to the United States by the enjoyment of island bases’.”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“This shows plainly that Mr. Roosevelt’s grand design was for a large apportionment of the globe between the Communist Empire and the United States, at the expense of the British Commonwealth and French Empire. Support of Communism in China, too, was primarily intended to prevent a British revival there and in the planning of the Pacific campaign everything was done to exclude the British and make China and Japan into a Soviet-American sphere of influence.”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“In fact he [Roosevelt] furthered the aims of the ‘formidable sect’ and perilously weakened his country at home. He is the great example of the apparently powerful man, used by others for ulterior aims. In reality he was not even president at fateful moments. Mr. Hopkins was that and he was like a blind man playing with high tension wires. History shows no stranger partnership than this, which built up the Communist Empire to its present peak of menace.”

— Douglas Reed, writing in Far and Wide (1951)

“The Soviet union was shown prophetically on this sensational map as absorbing the then independent countries of Rumania, Poland, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Finland, Estonia and present-day East Germany. The mysterious map also included a text which spelled out world police, world government, nationalization of assets, world money, and an international police force.”

— The Councilor, Shreveport, L.A., October 22, 1965

“In 1916 Mr. House prompted President Wilson publicly to support the plan for “some league of nations” before a body then newly-formed: The League To Enforce Peace. Thus the Plan became clearer: peace was to be enforced by war.”

— Douglas Reed, The Battle for Rhodesia, published 1967 – PDF prepared by www.douglasreed.co.uk

“For instance, a Mr. Moritz Gomberg was presumably unknown to the multitudes embroiled when in 1942 he popped up with a “Group for a New World Order” and published a map showing the rearrangement of the globe. He foresaw that at the war’s end the communist empire would extend from the Pacific to the Rhine (Berlin is not far from the Rhine), that a Hebrew State should be set up in Palestine (which happened), that the remnant of Western Europe should disappear in a “United States of Europe” (something which is now being actively pursued), and that the African continent should become a “Union of Republics” (it is becoming a shambles, the same thing).”

— Douglas Reed, The Battle for Rhodesia, published 1967 – PDF prepared by www.douglasreed.co.uk

“Examine carefully the area of Eastern Europe and you’ll see such places as the Polish SSR, the Czechian SSR, the Rumanian SSR, and so on. The countries we were told were ceded to the Soviet Union at Yalta by a “sick” FDR already had there fates sealed in 1941 or 42, not in Moscow, but in Philadelphia.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“Turning to Africa, we see another consolidation — the Union of African Republics. Major stumbling blocks have been removed from the road to this goal — the white governments of Rhodesia and South Africa. … So the actions of our government in relation to Africa and Asia were consistent with the plans published in 1942. While black Americans and “liberals” cheered the “liberation” of the blacks in Rhodesia and South Africa, the way was cleared to enslave the entire continent.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“Again, if we look at Asia, we see poor Tibet already merged into China, along with Sinkiang, Inner Mongolia, Korea. Indo China, and Thailand. With the fall of Vietnam, Laos, and North Korea to Chinese Communism, it shouldn’t take much to make them United “Republics”. As we continue to make China the premiere economic, military, and political power in Asia, it will be difficult for South Korea and Thailand to avoid absorption — if that is still the plan.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“True, the game in Europe for centuries has been to make sure territorial changes after each war placed a sizable minority in new area gained by the victor. That assured grounds for another war.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“The best I saved for last — the United States of America. Take notice that the entire North American continent, including Greenland, Canada, Mexico, and Central America are part of the United States. Think it can’t happen here?  NAFTA?  CAFTA?  Like the Common Market, NAFTA and CAFTA are the first steps.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“Is illegal immigration from Mexico unstoppable or is it a means of creating a sort of Fifth Column that might eventually ease the merger with Mexico?”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“(At the time of the writing of this revision, negotiations are already underway between Bush, Martin of Canada, and Fox of Mexico to create a North American Union. The claim is made that this is for trade purposes only and not a political union, but you can bet the political union will follow.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“As plans for the NAU continue behind the backs of the American people a “Trans-Texas Highway” is also in progress. Called by many the “NAFTA Highway,” it will bisect Texas and terminate initially in Kansas City at a Mexican customs building. That building will have the same status as an Embassy. It will be considered Mexican soil. Cargo-tainers will be offloaded from Chinese ships in Mexican ports, by-passing the Longshoremen and our West Coast ports. More jobs for Mexicans at the expense of Americans.)”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“I’ve had my blueprint copy of the map for over thirty years. Those of us who had a copy or knew of it are not certain who was behind it. But we made a strong guess that it was the World Federalists. They and other similar organizations have enjoyed substantial support from the international financiers and their tax free foundations.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“Some have suggested the Carnegie Funds and Foundations are behind it.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“The financiers seek a world government of, by, and for themselves.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“Through the control of all natural resources as the outline of the plan shows, the international financiers and the multinational megacorporations will come to own or control all means of production.”

— Commentary by PhreedomPhan, April 26, 2008

“The British Commonwealth is the only other power allowed to keep peace-security outposts: the red triangles across Africa, allowing the British isles a link to the former colonies it is allowed to keep: Australia, New Zealand, parts of the formerly Dutch East Indies, and Ceylon and Madagascar.”

“The New World Order (world government, ruled by a dictator) is one of “British values?”  Is this a revitalization of the Soviet Union, of the old British empire, or a fusion of both? / Ha, just have the “Soviet Union” annex a few more countries to the west, and you have the “European Union!”  This was former president Gorbachev’s dream…..”

— commenter, The New World Order (1942) « Strange Maps.htm

“Revealed … map from 1941 predicts future. BORDERING ON PSYCHIC. An Irish historian has stumbled on an amazing world map predicting the borders of new countries — 70 years before they were drawn up.”

— Tom Prendeville, columnist, The Irish Mirror (newspaper) (circa 2010)
